History of Armenian

Armenian is its own branch of Indo-European, as isolated as Greek or Albanian. The alphabet was created by Mesrop Mashtots in 405 AD to translate the Bible. Armenia was the first nation to adopt Christianity (301 AD). The Armenian diaspora, formed by the 1915 genocide, has spread the language globally.

Is Armenian Hard to Learn?
